Ch LDAP Package for OpenLDAP

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Ch LDAP package is a Ch binding to the Open Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (OpenLDAP) C library. Ch is a free C/C++ interpreter. Ch LDAP enables all functions in the OpenLDAP library for use in Ch. With Ch LDAP, these functions can run in Ch interpretively without compilation. Ch LDAP allows accessing, adding, deleting, and modifying to directory services.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

(1) One of the following operating systems:

Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP
Linux (kernel 2.2.5-15 or above)

(2) Ch Standard or Professional Edition version 4.5.0.11441 or higher. Ch is free and available for multiple platforms from SoftIntegration at www.softintegration.com

(3) OpenLDAP and the OpenLDAP Directory Server which can be obtained from www.openldap.org

FILES IN DISTRIBUTION

Ch LDAP contains the following directories:

chldap/demos/	OpenLDAP demos ready to run in Ch
chldap/dl/	Dynamically loaded library libldap.dl
chldap/include/	OpenLDAP header files
chldap/lib/	Contains .chf files needed for Ch
chldap/src/	Source files for Ch LDAP, run createldap.ch to recreate the files in /chldap/
chldap/src/c/	Contains the makefiles and chdl.c files.
chldap/tinclude/	OpenLDAP header files to be copied to CHHOME/toolkit/include where CHHOME is the directory where ch is installed.
